Preemptive pain management – The delivery of the
proper combinations of anesthetic drugs and local
nerve blocks, interferes with the pain pathway
before surgery making management of pain
postoperative much easier.
Intraoperative drug delivery - The use of multiple
drugs in low doses provides optimal
anesthetic safety by allowing a minimum
amount of an individual drug to be present
in the patient. Intravenous infusion
of different |
| medications during surgery
with a fluid pump provides constant delivery
of the safest drugs available. This
maximizes patient safety allowing the lowest
possible dose of inhalent anesthetic to be
administered. |
Postoperative Pain Control - Due to preoperative
and intraoperative pain management we experience
less postoperative pain in our patients consequently
reducing hospital stays and facilitating earlier
discharge. Pain management postoperatively can
generally be accomplished at home with oral
administration of medication, even for some of the
more painful procedures.
Stem Cell Therapy - Dr. Beckman is an
credentialed in stem cell therapy currently utilized
for treating spinal and joint related pain in
animals using the animals own fat cells to harvest
the stem cells. Please visit
